Aidan Potts

Aidan Potts is an Investor at Georgian, where he’s served on both the Growth Investment and Strategic Investments teams. Based in Toronto, he has been with the firm for nearly four years. Aidan focuses primarily on the Cybersecurity, Developer Tools, and AI Infrastructure sectors, identifying high-potential companies across Georgian’s US$900M Growth fund and US$500M Alignment fund. Throughout his tenure, Aidan has deployed over $250M in capital and raised approximately $150M in co-investments.
His notable deal experience includes investments in high-growth Series B-D software companies such as Cyera, Armis, Coder, You.com, Render, and Replit. Beyond deal execution, Aidan serves as a Board Observer for six portfolio companies, partnering closely with founders and management teams. Before joining Georgian, Aidan began his career in investment banking at Canaccord Genuity. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western University and an MSc in Management from Ivey.
