Tate is an Economics graduate with education from University of Victoria, Canada, and City University of Hong Kong. At 16, Tate found his passion in FinTech. He used Craigslist as a way to lend out $250K+ of his own capital to those in need. Through this journey, Tate discovered the predatory nature of the payday loan industry. He founded ZayZoon to combat this industry while still giving people relief between paychecks, without debt or egregious fees.
