As an advocate of economic development, he has a sound foundation in innovative best practices and a solid grasp on the innovation landscape in Canada. Understanding that entrepreneurship and innovation is best achieved through collaboration, Angelo is a proven community builder having brought together academia, the public sector and the private sector. He is also a strategic brand tactician with the ability to articulate one’s value proposition clearly, as well as successfully positioning one’s organization the marketplace.
Angelo has worked with preeminent brands in Canadian innovation including MaRS Discovery District, OneEleven, and currently runs the Innovation department at Elevate. While Angelo is a natural islander (i.e. he was born in Manila and spent a few years on the shores of Newfoundland), he has spent most of his time in the city of Toronto, his current home.
