Sarah Romanuck is Director of Banking at RBCx, where she leads the relationship management teams in the GTA and the Kitchener/Waterloo corridor.
Sarah and her team work closely with growth companies from Series A to IPO, with a focus on fintech, cleantech, AI, hardware and robotics, and SaaS, by providing access to growth capital, operational expertise and strategic advisory.

As a seasoned tech banker, Sarah is a strategic, data-driven leader with a reputation for developing high-performing teams through authentic, transparent coaching and collaboration. She has a passion for creating fast-paced, motivating work environments that are laser-focused on providing an exceptional client experience to Canada’s top tech companies. Sarah has supported hundreds of founders through mentorship, advisory, capital, and strategic connections.

Before joining RBCx, Sarah was a long-time commercial banker in various Canadian markets, and has significant experience in credit underwriting, M&A financing, and business development in diversified and specialized client segments.

Sarah is also a passionate ecosystem supporter and serves on the board of Haltech, a non-profit regional innovation centre that supports innovative companies in southwestern Ontario. Sarah previously served as a chair for the Risk Management Association and advisor for the Southern Alberta Institute for Technology.

In her spare time, Sarah loves hiking, cooking, playing music (keyboard/fiddle), and doing extensive research on her next travel destination.
