Kevin Allen

Kevin has been involved in building exceptional businesses throughout his entire career. Founding his first company soon after completing business school resulting in a patent on cellular modeling and the sale of the venture, Kevin has gone on to found three additional businesses including the non profit Access Mode, a Techstars company and the first BIPOC focused accelerator in Colorado. Kevin has also spent time in various executive roles in finance and operations including selling his second company, an energy efficiency modeling company, along the way. Kevin was the Managing Director at the DEMI Fund, an early-stage venture fund focused on companies established by BIPOC entrepreneurs before moving on to cofound Social Economy Partners. Kevin also has experience in investment banking, private equity and participated as a contestant on NBC’s “The Apprentice Season II,” ultimately advancing to the final four of contestants. Kevin holds a BS from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School of Business), where he distinguished himself as a two-time All-League football player; an MBA from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University, where he was recognized as a Toigo Finance Fellow; and, a JD from the Law School at the University of Chicago.
