She is the national technology columnist for CBC (Canada’s public broadcaster) and North American technology contributor to BBC Radio World News where she reports on the latest in tech and business. She was also named one of the most powerful women in Canada for her contributions to journalism.
She was previously a contributing editor for Fortune magazine and host of the CBC podcast Death in Cryptoland which the top 5 in the United States and UK about the Canadian-based crypto company called Quadrigo that stole money from users around the world.
As the host of the Sony Podcast show ‘They Did That’ she investigated the women inventors who changed our world, but were overlooked by history. Her online and broadcast work has appeared in numerous publications, which include the Globe and Mail, Refinery29, Metro News, Chatelaine, Mic, and more.
Over the years, her dedication has resulted in being named one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, Brand Star Leader by AdWeek magazine, Young Entrepreneur of the Year and chosen as the U.S. Department of State’s Young Leaders of America Initiative fellow, which selects emerging leaders and social entrepreneurs from around the world to live and study in America.
