Steven Siciliano is the CEO and Co-Founder of LiORA, a Saskatchewan-based environmental technology company transforming how industry monitors and remediates contaminated sites. Since founding the company in 2019, Steven has led the development of AI-enabled sensor systems that generate over 17,000 data points per sensor annually, creating the world’s largest soil flux database with more than 12 million estimates.
Under his leadership, LiORA’s technology has scaled to over 65 active sites across North America, delivering results that reduce soil contaminant plumes by 33% per year while using 95% less water than traditional methods. The company’s approach eliminates 99.9% of the greenhouse gas emissions associated with conventional excavation—proving that better environmental outcomes and better economics can go hand in hand.
LiORA recently closed Saskatchewan’s largest seed round and is positioned for continued growth as the environmental monitoring market expands.
