Colin Hennigar

Chief Development Officer | Upside Foundation of Canada & SickKids Foundation

Colin Hennigar is Chief Development Officer at SickKids Foundation and the Upside Foundation of Canada, where he leads all relationship-based fundraising and campaign initiatives. With more than a decade of experience in philanthropy and nonprofit leadership, he has helped secure transformative investments that drive innovation and improve outcomes for children and families across Canada and globally. Colin began his career at the Royal Ontario Museum Governors, where he developed his expertise in donor engagement and cultural philanthropy. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilization and Fine Art History and a Master of Museum Studies from the University of Toronto. Colin instructs at George Brown College, represents SickKids Foundation as Senior Associate at the Woodmark Group of Hospitals, and serves as a Board Member of Canadian Stage. He was also named an inaugural Top 40 Under 40 recipient by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
