Scott McKay

A serial investor, entrepreneur, and active portfolio manager, Scott has over a decade of experience evaluating opportunities in promising ventures and working with founders. He has been investing, advising and working in private venture since co-founding KJSM Ventures in 2012. Scott received his entrepreneurial start working in real estate property evaluation while founding, operating and managing a private commercial property group which focused on cash flow projections and evaluation for prospective third-party acquisition assets. Scott actively sits on multiple venture companies’ boards or advisory teams and has created a portfolio of venture investment exits. Scott is a member of multiple professional groups that are embedded in the venture community, including the C100. Scott holds a BBA in Finance & Economics and a MSc in Finance, concluding his dissertation studies on behavioural finance and investor risk tolerance.
