Sanjay Zimmermann

Sanjay Zimmermann was born in Germany, raised in Canada, and studied in the United States. He began his career in the UK and holds Canadian, German, and Indian nationalities.

Before joining White Star Capital in 2017, Sanjay worked for several years in Investment Banking at Rothschild & Co in London, focusing on cross-border M&A within the TMT sector. Prior to banking, he produced a video series titled Defining Entrepreneurship, where he interviewed over 60 entrepreneurs worldwide.

Now based in Toronto, Sanjay concentrates on Canadian and Southeast Asian opportunities for the fund. He is an avid tennis player and spends his summers on the court, often challenging his younger sister, who usually has the upper hand. In the winter, he’s on the slopes, snowboarding to the beats of Tropical House.

A dedicated Werder Bremen fan, Sanjay’s favorite Netflix show is New Amsterdam.
