Nicole LeBlanc is a partner with Woven Capital in Tokyo, focusing on investments in mobility, energy, and sustainability that support and accelerate Toyota’s mission to build the safest mobility in the world. Previously she was a partner with 2150, an urbantech & sustainability focused on supporting the growth of sustainable cities. Nicole also led venture investments for Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs, an urban innovation company that worked with developers and cities to build more sustainable, innovative, and equitable places around the world. Before joining Sidewalk she was a Director with both BDC Capital and NBIF, investing and managing a portfolio of 150+ seed stage startups.
Nicole began her career as a CPA, including roles as a controller at Ganong Bros, an East Coast family-run confectionery manufacturer that invented the chocolate bar. She stays connected to the Canadian ecosystem through board roles at various VC funds and non-profits.
