Kate Tomen is a business professional with over 9 years of experience in business development and operations management. She holds a Master of Management Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MMIE) from Queens University.

In her professional career, Kate has made significant contributions to Angel Investors Ontario where she is Vice President, Business Development & Operations. In this role, she oversees all aspects of daily business operations, program management, stakeholder relationships, and long-term strategy creation.

Kate has a proven track record of managing program, building relationships with public and private sectors, and authoring successful grant proposals. She also led initiative to support women entrepreneurs and refugee founders, demonstrating her commitment to diversity and inclusion the innovation ecosystem.
