As a Partner at Vanedge Capital, Amy is focused on three themes:Â hard technologies, analytics and sustainability. Amy has been part of the Canadian venture ecosystem for over 20 years and has a successful track record as an investor and operator. Amy started her venture capital career in Toronto in 2002, enhanced her knowledge by stepping into operational leadership teams in start-ups between 2006 and 2011, and returned to venture capital in 2011, where she’s been ever since.
Amy’s career has been entirely focused on entrepreneurship and venture capital. Amy is actively involved in promoting entrepreneurship and supporting the Canadian start-up community. She is a Board member of several start-up companies including Vendasta, Vodasafe, Bridgit, #Paid, Plotly and Dyspatch as well as InnovateBC, Vancouver Entrepreneurial Forum (VEF) and Girl in the Wild. Amy holds a B.Comm. with a finance specialization from Dalhousie University.
