Theresa Evanoff is the Executive Director of The Firehood, an angel investment network dedicated to increasing the participation, leadership, and prosperity of women in tech. A global leader in startup ecosystems, she has expertise in go-to-market strategy, innovation, and accelerator programs, and startup innovation ecosystems across diverse geographies. She recently returned to Canada after 20 years abroad and is eager to engage with Canada’s startup and innovation ecosystem.

She successfully launched two startup accelerators as Program Director for German Accelerator Southeast Asia and Moody’s for Startups and has worked with tech startups across sectors. She was also the founder of a social enterprise in Singapore. Prior to working with startups, she was the Regional Go-to-Market Strategy Director for Motorola Mobility covering Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Central & Eastern Europe, and a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting Southeast Asia.
