Ross began his VC career as an application reviewer for YCombinator, screening more than 12,000 companies before returning to UWaterloo to help guide the next generation of entrepreneurs. He served as a business advisor, fund lead and interim director at Velocity – leading the spin out of Velocity Fund from the University of Waterloo. Over the last 2 years, he has led 30 new investments and has advised over 70 companies as they scale from pre-seed through to Series A.​
