Matan is a lifelong entrepreneur with +9 years of formal venture investing experience. In his current role as Managing Director of Verstra Ventures, he leads the team in sourcing and investing in B2B early-stage vertically focused software companies as well as advising and founders. Prior to Verstra, we was a key player in many investments in the software, cleantech, and agtech industries in North America and Israel. His unique approach resulted in the formation of new companies, initiatives and non-traditional deals.

Additionally, Matan has been active in the Canadian, US and Israeli tech ecosystem, including a regular speaker, mentor, and advisor for various incubators, accelerators, and universities such as Holt Accelerator and the Schulich School of Business, where he is an alumnus of its iBBA program.
