Harshal is an early-stage investor at Plug and Play Tech Center, where he is responsible for looking investing across all industries there. He transitioned from a successful entrepreneur—his startup was acquired—to a venture capitalist, enriching his investment approach with a deep understanding of startup dynamics.
At Plug and Play, Harshal focuses on sector-agnostic investments, primarily in B2B startups, from pre-seed to Series A stages. His work is characterized by a data-driven approach to evaluating and supporting promising ventures across various industries. Previously, Harshal has helped raise a fund at Specter Labs (Now Cmd + N) in London, United Kingdom focused on early stage startups and invested in promising startups (Portfolio: Nothing.tech, TransferGo, Qomodo etc). Before that he founded Florage, a carbon capture and reduction ML company, which showcased his commitment to innovation and sustainability before its acquisition by one of the labs at MIT, Boston.
His passion for data’s power to enable exponential startup growth, coupled with his eagerness to explore and share new ideas, positions him as a pivotal figure in the evolving venture capital industry.
