He is founder of the Canadian Lenders Association, the largest financial services trade group in the country. Tal writes the Canadian Fintech Newsletter and hosts the Canadian Finance Summit, Canada’s largest industry publication and conference.

Tal is Chairman of Mount Sinai Hospital’s Under 40 Board and sits on the board of ACCESS Capital Fund.
