Robbie Marks is a Director of Investments at MaRS IAF, one of Canada’s most active early-stage investors. At MaRS, he co-leads a team deploying capital into pre-seed and seed-stage companies and works closely with founders across the portfolio on strategy, fundraising, and go-to-market. Before joining MaRS, Robbie was a Senior Associate at Staircase Ventures, where he invested in seed-stage startups, served as a board observer across the portfolio, and helped build the firm’s Founder Growth Platform. Robbie holds a dual JD/MBA from the University of Toronto and formerly practiced startup and venture capital law at Fasken.
