Mahendra is currently the President of FirstAngel Capital Corp, an investment and advisory company that works with entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses to raise both private and public capital. With over 45 years of experience as a CEO, CFO, and Corporate Director, Mahendra has been involved in raising over $500 million of capital for both public and private companies, as well as numerous acquisitions and divestitures of businesses. In addition, Mr. Naik has overseen and managed assets of more than $200 million for a number of Family offices.

Mr. Naik is also the Chairman of TiE Toronto, part of TiE Global, one of the world’s largest entrepreneurial organizations. Through the TiEQuest business competition, TiE Toronto has mentored and nurtured over 2,000 companies and 4,000 founders. The TiEQuest companies have received more than $2.5 million in cash and in-kind prizes over the years. TiE Toronto has also nominated many of these companies/founders for the TiE Global competitions, including TiE 50, University Challenge, and Women’s competitions.
