Declan Sander is an Analyst at Builders VC, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm with $1B AUM investing across Industrial, Health, B2B SaaS, Enterprise, AgTech, PropTech, and ConTech. Prior to Builders VC, Declan worked at Alpaca VC a early stage New York based fund focusing on PropTech investments.

Beyond investing, Declan co-founded Birchbark Health, an Indigenous-led nonprofit that builds community capacity in Indigenous communities across Canada, backed by TELUS Health. He currently serves as a Director on Amnesty International Canada’s Board and as Past President of Best Buddies UCalgary, a program that matches students with community members with intellectual disabilities to form long-lasting friendships.
