Matthew is a Partner at TELUS Global Ventures, working closely with portfolio companies to connect them with TELUS’ industry expertise, resources, leadership team, and network.
Prior to joining TELUS, Matthew served as Managing Director for OneEleven, a post-seed accelerator in Toronto, scaling the next generation of Canadian tech companies. Before that, he co-founded the marketplace startup GroceryHero and worked for the United Nations World Food Programme and as a Management Consultant for Deloitte.
Matthew is also an angel investor, advisor, and mentor. He is an instructor in the Schulich School of Business Tech MBA program at York University, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Toronto Zoo and Ontario Snowboard. Matthew also writes about macroeconomics, global affairs, and public policy, often contributing to the Globe & Mail Report on Business, Financial Post, and Toronto Star.
