Olivia Steedman

Executive Managing Director | Teachers' Venture Growth

Olivia Steedman is the Executive Managing Director and Global Head of Teachers’ Venture Growth (TVG). In this role, Olivia is responsible for overseeing Ontario Teachers’ direct and fund venture growth investments. Since starting up TVG in 2019, Olivia has led the TVG team to build a portfolio of more than $7 billion that includes more than 30 direct investments and partnerships.
Olivia joined Ontario Teachers’ in 2002 as a founding member of the Infrastructure and Natural Resources group, where she served in various senior leadership roles and on multiple portfolio company boards. Before joining Ontario Teachers’, Olivia held roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Marshall Macklin Monaghan.
A Professional Engineer and Chartered Professional Accountant, Olivia earned a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University and has a ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors. In 2018, she was recognized by Women’s Executive Network as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.
