Craig is a Managing Director and General Partner at Graphite Ventures, one of Canada’s most active institutional seed investor. Since joining Graphite in 2021, Craig has played a pivotal role in leading investments and sitting on the boards of high-growth companies across Canada, helping founders scale from seed stage to Series A and beyond.

Prior to Graphite, Craig spent over seven years as a Senior Investment Director at the MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund (IAF), where he was instrumental in deploying capital as part of Canada’s most active seed-stage fund. His experience spans over a decade in venture capital, with successful investments leading to notable exits including Irwin (acquired), Fluence Technologies (acquired), and HTBASE (acquired), among others.

Craig’s entrepreneurial background includes co-founding and operating multiple businesses across healthcare, technology, real estate, and media. From launching Integrative Health Centres Inc. to co-founding companies. Craig brings hands-on operational experience to his role as an investor. His time as an operator also includes managing a medical building and clinic, as well as running a successful auto importing business.

Craig is deeply committed to backing founders with bold visions, leveraging his diverse background to provide value beyond capital. He believes in supporting entrepreneurs with the same conviction they show in building their companies.
