Leonard Kofman is a senior financial and operational leader with a two-decade career dedicated to financing and scaling high-growth, innovative companies. He is currently the Founder of Codex Advisory, where he provides fractional CFO and operational expertise to early-stage businesses, specializing in sourcing funding and developing robust financial strategies to maximize runway and growth. Leonard’s direct experience in venture capital includes serving as a Partner with the IP Backed Financing Group at BDC Capital, where he sourced, underwrote, and managed a wide portfolio of debt and equity investments for IP-rich companies across the Seed and Series A stages. His prior leadership role as Chief Credit Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Quantius further solidified his expertise.

He holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from the University of Michigan. Leonard’s seminar is rooted in his hands-on experience as a trusted advisor for portfolio companies, focusing not on secrets, but on the disciplined execution of fundamentals. His goal is to help founders utilize finance and reporting as engines of growth.
