
Ariel Siller
Managing Director | Women's Equity Lab
Ariel Siller is a strategic executive and lawyer whose work sits at the intersection of innovation, capital, and systems change. She is the Managing Director of Women’s Equity Lab (WEL), a national network of early-stage investment funds that activates hundreds of women angel investors and backs some of Canada’s most promising startups. In her role, Ariel leads national strategy, fund expansion, and partnerships that advance women’s economic participation and strengthen Canada’s innovation ecosystem.
Previously, Ariel served as CEO of the Canadian Children’s Literacy Foundation, where she raised over $25 million, built nationally recognized policy coalitions, and launched innovative, multisectoral literacy programs that reached over 80,000 children. She began her career practicing corporate and renewable-energy law at Torys LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
Ariel serves on the Board of Directors of Women’s College Hospital Foundation and The Pine Project. She earned a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she graduated with both academic and pro bono distinction, and a B.A. from Columbia University, magna cum laude and with departmental honours in History.
