Innovation and Technology Team | The City of Brampton - Innovation District Team Supporting Altitude Angels

Suvid Ajmera is a generational entrepreneur, innovation ecosystem builder, and brand strategist with experience spanning angel investing, venture capital support, and experiential brand growth. He currently works with the City of Brampton’s Economic Development Office (Innovation & Technology Team), where he supports the strategic development of the Brampton Innovation District, helping startups access capital, partnerships, and growth opportunities.

Previously, Suvid led Brampton Angels, building and scaling an angel investment network that supports early-stage startups through funding, mentorship, and investor readiness. He also served as Executive Director of Angel One Investor Network and was an active contributor to Equation Angels, working closely with founders and investors to help startups raise venture capital and navigate early growth.

Alongside his ecosystem work, Suvid brings a strong brand and market-building background, having led over 300 campaigns and live experiences for global brands including PepsiCo, IBM, Toyota, BMW/MINI, and Diageo. Across all his roles, he focuses on connecting ideas, capital, and people to build resilient, high-impact innovation ecosystems.
