Alexandra McGregor

Alexandra brings over fifteen years experience in the non-profit and entrepreneurship sectors to the role of Chief Program Officer where she is responsible for leading NEXT Canada’s three flagship programs, The Next 36, Next Founders and NextAI. She is driven by creating and delivering best in class programs that emphasize venture creation, founder development, and alumni success. Alexandra’s role focuses primarily on founder development, program design, and stakeholder engagement. She also works closely with the Investment Committee via 36 Investments and The Young Founders Fund I & II on investment in NEXT companies.

Previously, Alexandra developed national programs at Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada and prior to that, worked in education policy at The Fraser Institute. Having studied in Canada and the U.K, Alexandra holds an Hon. B.A from the University of Toronto where she double majored in English Literature and History.
