MEETING EXCHANGE B: FACE TO FACE WITH INVESTORS

Meeting Exchanges are CIX’s popular one-on-one, pre-booked meetings between founders and leading growth-stage investors from North America and globally, who are the hosts. These meetings are a valuable opportunity for advice, building a relationship as well as potential funding partnership. Founders may pre-book up to six investor meetings through CIXchange from October 3rd to 27.

Each meeting is 8 minutes, plus a 2 minute transition time. Investors’ investment preferences are noted in their profile. Please note, space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

It is important that founders who signed up for a Meeting Exchange session in advance show up at least 15 minutes prior to the session's start time to check-in with the room monitor and get processed. Arriving late will result in the spot being taken.
For those Founders who did not secure a Meeting Exchange spot in advance, or would like a chance to secure more spots, some space may become available onsite due to no-shows. We recommend delegates arrive at the session room 15-20 minutes before the session start time and take advantage of the Wait Line. The wait line will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be no wait list.

Entrepreneurs please read the investment preferences of the hosts to ensure there is a fit.

NAventures is NBC's corporate venture capital arm. We invest in early stage companies that can add strategic value to NBC (including clients, employees, partners, processes, operations and tech). Our mandate is broad, our typical investment verticals include Fintech, Proptech, Insurtech and Cybersecurity. Traditionally we make our first investment at Seed or Series A but can make a first investment at Series B. We follow in later rounds. We usually don't lead rounds but have done so on several occasions. We invest in Canada, the USA, Europe and Israel.
