Tatiana graduated from the University of Ottawa, with a major in business administration and a minor in Arts Administration with deep self-taught knowledge in environmental engineering, alternative agriculture practices and a TinkerCAD design certificate by Autodesk. Tatiana is passionate about Nature and Technology. She is driven by her purpose of transcending environmental benefits for future generations and creating impact through community and collaboration.
Tatiana worked for the Canadian government in the field of sustainable cities and in the private sector in the field of innovation. In 2015, she founded Permalution, a startup focused on technology and innovation for fog water harvesting and climate change solutions. After the startup and team started growing, they won several international contests.
In 2017 Tatiana was named a UN Talent for the SDG#6. Permalution raised pre-seed support and grants from Chemonics international through the UNLeash SDG´s Innovation Lab 2019 and through the Roddenberry Foundation.
Permalution has successfully secured its first financing and strategic partnerships with the ACET. The startup has also finished its first stage of R&D with the University of Sherbrooke, Department of Civil Engineering and Structures, and is now working in its next stage for commercialization with the University of Toronto, Centre for Global Engineering.
