Crystal has a diverse background in science and business accumulated in over 20 years working in both the private and public sectors.
As the CEO and Founder of Stepscan Technologies Crystal has a bold vision of making Stepscan the “Leading innovator of movement tracking and analysis technology in the medical and security & defence sectors the world over.”
With three patents awarded and commercialization in the medical space complete, Crystal is now looking to capitalize on the company’s intellectual property in gait biometrics in the security space.
Crystal has a B.Sc. degree from the University of New Brunswick; a M.Sc. from the University of Prince Edward Island and an MBA from the University of Guelph. Crystal is a member of the Order of the Wallace McCain Institute; an Atlantic Canadian based entrepreneurship society and is passionate about the future promise that entrepreneurship holds for the growth of the Atlantic Canadian provinces in the upcoming years.
