Patrick is a partner at Western Technology Investment ("WTI") which is Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm founded in 1980 that specializes in investments in early, emerging and late stage, fast growing companies. Portfolio companies include Eventbrite, Facebook, Google, Jet.com, Juniper, Ring, Stem Centrx and Stitch Fix. WTI is currently investing out of its 16th Fund and has total assets over $4.0 billion. Prior to WTI, Patrick worked at Pinnacle Ventures and backed such companies as Chegg, Quidsi, DropCam, JBoss, Pandora and Zipcar. Before that, Patrick was with JPMorgan Partners where he invested early on in VMWare, PentaSafe and Tidal Software. Earlier in his career, he was at a venture fund at Hambrecht & Quist. Patrick received an undergraduate degree with Honors from Queen’s University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
