Gabriel is a lawyer and an analyst in Corporate Finance at the AMF since April 2017. In this role, Gabriel provides support to the Corporate Finance division which includes the review of prospectus offerings, the processing of exemptive relief applications and the participation to various policy projects and initiatives related to public and private capital raising offerings. Previously, Gabriel served as legal counsel, Legal Affairs at the AMF, where he also completed his articling.
Gabriel sits on the Sandbox Committee, which is the Canadian Securities Administrators’ (CSA) primary forum for addressing securities law issues associated with cryptocurrencies and emerging technologies. Gabriel is also a member of the ICO Consultation Network established by the IOSCO Board.
Gabriel has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from HEC Montréal and a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Montréal. Gabriel was called to the Quebec Bar in 2016.
