The UK has already implemented an open banking framework, Australia will do so next year, and a recent U.S. Treasury Report called for open banking in the U.S. This panel will examine the question of open banking in Canada. Proponents say it will give us a global competitive edge and provide immense consumer benefit. But there are questions of consent and liability to consider.
